Anyone going to WDW in October?

We're going to be at BCV Oct. 9-16. We've gone about the same time the past 3 years and love it. The year before last was super hot (in the 90's all week) but usually the weather is perfect (not too hot not too cold).

Even though OKW isn't our home resort, we will be there exactly the same days as you and your family (BWV is our home resort but we've only been members since April of this year and weren't able to get a 2 bedroom for the entire stay). This is our first trip home and we are really looking forward to it! Taking my husband's oldest daughter who, at the tender age of 29, has never been to WDW (isn't that illegal or un-American or something!!).

DH & I will be at OKW 10/16-10/23. Our first time visiting in the fall. We're doing the segway tour on 10/17 bday: to DH) and hope to thoroughly enjoy the F&W festival

It's mid October for us. We've been to WDW in October the past three years and like so many of the other posters, we feel it is a great time to visit the World.

We are heading home to SSR on Oct. 5th - 10th! This is our third trip to Disney in October. Last year we went Oct. 25 - Nov. 1st. Weather was perfect!

Although... the first time we went in October, around 6 years ago, the weather was warm, but it rained sortof alot. Still, it didn't ruin our trip at all.

We will be at OKW 10/6-10/09, followed by one night off-site, flying home early on the 11th. We will be at the party 10/08 and we can't wait! We have 4 kids and our home is BCV, we were there in March.
Kellydizfan......welcome to the DIS!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not be scared to stay at BCV! Just go with an open mind and complain if something is really bad and make them fix it. Many of the complaints are way blown out of proportion IMO or something that could really only happen very rarely. Keep your reservation and have a great time. If BCV was really so bad you would see loads of people dumping their points, and you don't see that happening do you?

Glad you asked the question! We are going on our first October (10/15-10/22) trip this year. I was hoping for little or no rain and mild temps.

We LOVE October. The weather is usually perfect! We will be staying at BWV from Sunday Oct 24th through Friday Oct 29th in a two-bedroom. We are attending the Halloween Party on Tuesday Oct 26. I can't wait!!

We will be there from Sept. 26th till Oct. 10th. We will be staying at All-Star Movie this time (Made these reservations before we bought into the DVC). We will be going to MNSSHP on the 1st of Oct. It can't seem to get here fast enough for me.

We are taking extended family and we will be at OKW from 10-23 thru 30. We have a 2 bedroom and a studio...

IT sounds like a lot of DVC people will be there the end of OCtober - we usually go in November but switched for my in-laws...

My hubby and I went in OCt before we had kids and remember it being hot

Wow, there is alot of us going to be there in Oct. We'll (DH, DD, and Me) will be there Oct 9 -14th. I finally got my ressie for a 1BR at OKW. My first stay as a DVC member!

I'll be there from September 30-October4th! And no kids! It's a Neonatal Nurses conference and I just "Have to" go

We are going to be at OKW Oct. 10-17 also and it is also our first trip with baby (DD will be 7 months when we go)!

We have gone in October a few times in past years and have found that anything can happen. In 2000, we were there in early October and it was actually cold (needed pants and sweatshirt or light jacker during the day. Another time it was late October and was very hot.

Go and have a good time -- you deserve it!!! My daughter is alive today due to the wonderful care she received from her Neonatal Nurses. Thanks from a mom that has great respect for your profession.

We're going to be there October 1 through October 7 @ POFQ. It will also be our first trip to MNSSHP. We're bringing our granddaughter who is 12.

I just finished making our airline reservations, so DW and I can spend our 19th wedding anniversary at BWV (10/9 through 10/13) with out DS. I had to bribe MIL to fly up (made her reservations at the same time) and spend some time with her grandson. We are looking forward to the F&WF.

weather in 89 was hot during daytimes, enough to need pool/waterpark break during the afternoons, and really pleasant in evenings
