Any of our Collector's Board friends planning to be there at the same time? Looking forward to a Friday night Contemporary pin meet!

Doubt that I'll be there in May, After the trip next month, I'm not scheduled to be in Orlando til June/July.

Hey Jan, we'll miss you this year. We go April 20-May4. I hear the rumor is no Star Wars this year. Can't wait to do some serious pin trading (and some serious pin buying too!). Will be at all pin meets including MK on Tuesdays at noon and EPCOT on Fridays at noon (is that correct?).

The rumor at the Studio is that Star Wars WeekendS has been scaled back to one Star War Weekend (singular). Don't know which weekend it is.

Considering my luck, Star Wars won't be either weekend I'm there...I had so much fun there last year -- it was my first year at the event.

Where are the "big pin tradings" done at MK at noons (is that at the Expo hall -- every day?)?
And Epcot I'm presuming at Pin Station?

Don't forget the Contemporary on Friday nights, and Polynesian on Saturday nights!
I've been to the Contemp - -not poly, but I hear they are both still going strong!!

I wish Disney would decide on Star Wars Weekend(s) already! Now a new tease. Just encase me in carbonite until somebody makes up their mind!

We planned our May trip <u>especially</u> to attend this event! It figures that the ONE thing that could really put the <i>kabash</i> on our perfect plan actually happened - Disney cancelled! Who'd a thunk it?! We are so so so totally disappointed.

(That's me being blasted into oblivion by the Dark Side of the Force)

Hoping to catch up with some of you at the pin meets. I've reserved an IllumiNations cruise on May 2. There are only two of us so is anyone looking to share? It's my kind of "cruise" teeheehee, on a pontoon boat. Let me know - I'd be glad to arrange it if you are interested CKupres@aol.com

There was an article in the online Orlando Sentinel - I think yesterday - that confirmed no Star Wars weekends this year .

Seriously, though ... check the article over on the Rumors board. Star Wars weekends this year seem to definitely be off. Even if they do one weekend, I doubt it will be the weekend you'll be there; that's when the Star Wars Celebration II convention is scheduled.

Star Wars Weekend Update Feb. 26!!!

"I just got off the phone with a CM and I was asking her about crowds in May. She mentioned that it can get crowded on Star Wars Weekends and I told her that I'd read it had all been cancelled this year, as per the article in the Orlando newspaper. She read to me from a message the CMs had received just today (2/26/02) that on May 17, 18 and 19, to celebrate the release of the new Star Wars film, The Attack of the Clones, there would be Star Wars characters and events throughout Disney World and an additional Star Wars presence in the Cars and Stars Parade at MGM!!!"
