Hey! Yeah, I guess I'm new but I'm not. I posted like once, and that was it. But I was accepted into the CareerStart program in Disney World, and I wanted to know if anyone else was going, so I figured I'd put this username to good use, lol.

It'd be a lot easier to get used to being there knowing some people than none at all, y'know? xD

I'm not, but I'm am planning on applying for the college program in spring '10. It sounds like loads and loads of fun. Plus, I love meeting new people.

Funny that you mention this today, I have a dream about the college program last night. My parents came with me and it rained all the time and they hated it, lol.

BUT, if you want to meet more people you should head over to the college section of this board, that's basically all about college program/career start. Also, there's a facebook group where people are getting really close. :)

Parent Alert! Parent Alert!
Sorry to bust in on your thread here but I have been looking for info on these programs- My son is a Senior in HS this year and my next younget is a Junior- Where can I get any info on Career Start or College Programs etc? I also remember a Program long ago called Y.E.S.- Is that still going on and where would I find info on it?
The only program I know anything about right now is Steve Harvey's Program and I know they have to be nominated to be put in that by a teacher or parent I believe-
Any info is appreciated- I assume everyone here is still in HS or just having graduated so maybe I can get more info than the College Board- Thx!

AndyB., Thx so much! I just spent the last couple hours checking out all of the program guidelines for both the college program and the Youth Programs available- I really appreciate it! I am leaving the Teen board now but I just wanted to let you know I do appreciate the response to my request in your "domain"- :surfweb: I am back to the Families and Vacation Club boards-

i want to!
