We only have 45 days left to wait. We will be at POP 8/26-9/2. I am about to go out of my mind with excitement!!!!
I am so hyped up for this trip!!!!

I am excited and fearful all at the same time. If a Hurricane threatens I would have to cancel for sure, especially if its coming here to South Florida. Even if its going towards Orlando, I will have to cancel, don't want to be there and have the parks close up. So, I wish us ALL luck and !

My DH will not like it if I have a trip planned when a Hurricane comes, and not cancel it, there is a lot of work to do for the storm, so it wouldn't be fair to him. Also, the dogs would freak out if I wasn't there to "comfort" them.

We'll be there Aug 9th-14th. Hurricane season and not even free dining for us. But hey it's WDW. I figure a hurricane isn't likely *knock wood* to shut down the parks our entire visit. Since it's our 1st trip in 10 years, any WDW time is better than none!

Aug 14th to Aug 17th, staying at POP with FREE DINING. My sister and her son (17) have not been to WDW in 9 years so I don't even think they will even notice any bad weather. I am taking care of everything for them, they so deserve this trip.

PS: One time we were at the Caribbean Beach in March and a snow storm alert hit the north east. The Gov. shut down the state, then the storm by-passed our area. The airports were closed so we had to stay 2 extra days at CBR. We didn't mind at all.

In 2004 , dm, df, dd dd, and me (dd) were at The Yacht Club Resort, our favorite hotel, that was not our first time going there either, we were there while Hurricane Francis occured. It was almost cool in a way but not so much in another way. We had school to think about, not having everything ready, and not getting our physcials yet for sports started to worry me. But looking back at it now, it wasn't too bad. Try not to worry about it. If a Hurricane does God Forbid Strike, you'll plan on being in the most magical place on Earth . GOOD LUCK!!!!!

We'll be there August 12-23rd.

2 years ago, we were there the 8-14th. We were one of the last flights out before Hurricane Charley. It was quite unreal watching the news stations and realizing we were there. Usually we watch it from afar.

Fingers crossed for no hurricanes-not for my trip, but for the locals who have to live through it.
