Just curious what everyone's itineraries look like around these dates, we've planned to utilize a lot of the extra magic hours to take advantage of low crowds in the mornings, and in the evenings so we can take a break during mid-day.

We're staying at Pop Century in a standard room and will be using the Magical Express to get there.

We are leaving on February 7th and come home on the 11th. Don't have things mapped out yet, we are playing it by ear. We just look at the extra magic hours before we go and see if its a park we are interested in going to that day. Honestly MK is a must on early entry days for us and we enjoy evening extra's at EPCOT. We are staying at SSR in a studio and will have a rental car, ever since having kids its just easier to load the car and go instead of dealing with everything on the bus, we don't mind the drive at all. Even though this trip is just for us "big kids", we will probably still drive everywhere we go out of habit! Its also nice to see what's outside of Disney's gates and check out other places to eat and shop!:thumbsup2

Have a great time:)

I'll be there from Feb 7-10th. We're taking a long weekend for my birthday. We're not doing an itinerary this time around, because we're staying at the Poly, and plan on spending most of our time hanging around the resort. We've got some nice meals planned at Ohana and Narcoosses, but other than that, we'll pretty much wing it.

We are heading down the 6-11. Hoping for the shuttle launch. We do have ADR's but we are only planning to be at MK on the 9th for PPP and spending the 10th there as well. The other days we are just going to hang out and hope that the shuttle goes off on the 7th.

That's awesome, I wasn't even aware that was going to occur while we are down there, I'll definitely be following up on that, thanks for sharing!

we will be there Feb 6th through the 10th at AKL

What day is the shuttle launch? I would love to see that!

Can you see if from Orlando??

I will be there 2/7-2/11 for my daughters High School Cheerleading Competition. :cheer2:

My suggestion to all the people going during this time period is to avoid MGM on the 9th. There will be compeitions going on most of the day at the Indiana Jones Theatre. This park tends to get crowded.

Candle, you sound like me....Feb8 -10th for my birthday trip! :goodvibes Just gonna hit the MK Saturday and the PPP Party.... just a quick weekend. (we went Dec 21-26, so cant stay long due to our business!) So we will just wing it and enjoy! Hoping the crowds are thin!!:scared1:

Is the cheerleading stuff just on the 9th We are going to MGM (studios) on the 7th just to see Indianna Jones???

We'll be there the 5-12. Of course I had ADRs all set up for Hollywood and Vine on the 9th. Grrrr.... oh well, we'll just deal with the crowds. Fast passes here we come.

Actually We tend to shy away from the EMH parks....unless you are going JUST for the early morning part........

Just booked 2 nights at Port Orleans Riverside for Feb 11-13. My sister has to be in Orlando for biz and I am going to the parks. My Bday is 2/3, so we will also be having a late bday celebration. Not sure if we are making adrs but we don't use an iteneary (sp?). We have been there over 50 times since 1992.

5th to 16th here.

Poly 5 - 9
WL 9 - 16

Our first 5 days are really planned out but after that, we have nothing planned but our meals for the most part :)

It is scheduled for the 7th at 2:45pm. It can be seen from Disney from what I understand. At least that is what the CM's at the Poly told us in Dec. They said it comes up of CR kind of like toast popping out a giant toaster were thier exact words. I really hope it goes up this time.

I am flying down on the 7th to meet up with friends. As soon as my plane lands, I am heading over to the space center to hopefully watch a shuttle launch then heading back to the AKL until the 14th. Cant wait!!!! Still trying to upgrade to a savanah view. Then back to cocoa beach for a couple days with visits to KSC. There is a sticky on the theme parks forum that deals with viewing shuttle launches both from Disney and the space coast.

We were at DW five years ago and watched the shuttle launch. We were at MGM and everyone was standing watching. It was really cool. You really couldn't see the shuttle real well but saw the stream of smoke, it was very exciting. Everyone clapped when shuttle was out of sight. Sadly, that was the shuttle that broke apart upon reentry. We were so sad, it was like we had been a part of that shuttle because we saw take off. Our DD was 10 at the time and wrote a report about it for school.
