Can you tell me more about it. It sounds fun, but there is so much to do at WDW, I don't know if it worth trying to squeeze it in.

I went two years ago and it was really fun. Does anyone have a movie lineup for september? I would love to go again!

I'd like to hear more about this, too. Can you work the hay rack ride in with the campire, sing-a-long, and movie?

Thanks in advance.

Hi! We were there the first week of January. The weather was WONDERFUL (even at night). We went to the campfire/movie. When you get there, they have a sing-a-long which was very fun. Then Chip and Dale come and make their way around the benches to meet everyone. They start the campfires (2 of them) I think after the sing-a-long. There is a concession stand to buy food and s'mores stuff but there were alot of people that brought their own food. A family in front of us brought a cooler with stuff for hotdogs. They roasted their hotdogs on the campfire and then brought them back to their seating area and the mom had buns, ketchup, etc.

Then the movie starts. It's a very large screen, not as big as a drive-in screen, but maybe half the size. There's really nowhere for the kids to sit except a bench (but adults block their view), or the ground. Some people had blankets/sleeping bags for their kids to sit on. But it was very informal. Most of the kids were running around playing, people walking over to the campfire to cook their s'mores, etc.

It was fun, and my kids had a great time, but they wanted to leave about 1/2 way through the movie. We then started walking around FW and came upon the wagon ride. That was VERY FUN!! It was probably around $6 a person (can't remember exactly how much), and I remember I didn't have cash so I charged it to my room card. It was a warm, peaceful, quiet evening. Everyone on the wagon got to know each other and we all talked about where we were from and about how much fun we were having on our WDW vacations. I would guess that there were probably about 20 people on our wagon. The wagon trip took about 45 minutes. It was such a nice relaxing thing to do.

Alot of people on the wagon just finished up with HoopDeDoo, so maybe you could plan an evening at FW. Start with HoopDeDoo, head over to the campfire to make s'mores, then ride the wagon. Oh, and there's the electric light water pageant that passes by the FW beach area around 10pm every night (not exactly sure of the time, you would have to check this).

Have fun. :)
