Is anyone getting the new Nintendo DS on friday?

I can not wait had it on order for 5 weeks now, seems to be taken ages to get here. Just wish i could collect it at midnight on Thursday.

Hi Lesley, I may be able to help as I was in Florida in December last year.

The games bought in the US will also work in UK DSs, as do the normal Gameboys. The price from memory was about $150 so not much better than here allowing for the exchange rate. However the games were (again from memory) cheaper at $40 each. The selection wasn't great though to be honest - I expect it has improved considerably since we were there as there seem to be lots of cool games due for release in the UK and I can't imagine they won't also be for sale in USA

I am paying 180, for 4 games, console, and travel accessories and case, best deal around at the minute!

The games will work from the US and also you can play the Gameboy Advance games on it..
It was well worth the money, it worked out that we paid £80 or thereabouts so we saved ourselves a little bit of money and also DD had it well before any of her friends

Sam, they had them everywhere in Florida when I was there - Game, Electronics Boutique, Walmart, Target etc etc.

DS11 was so excited at the thought of picking up his DS today that he was awake at 6.30am! We normally have to physically drag him out of bed at 7.45am!

DH is dropping DS at school and then going straight to Game to pick it up so it will be waiting for him when he gets home from school. I don't suppose he will learn a thing today - much too distracted!

got mine just an hour ago, a little disapoionted as 1 of the games from the bundle i have ordered is not in stock yet!!!!

great fun, playing project rub, weird but fun.
