I got this one too and did call yesterday. The CM told me that they were told that the email was going out and to expect a lot of calls It did knock off $400.00 off our trip - but I'm still waiting for something a little more helpful.

We are staying at GF from 11/29 - 12/05/09 - out of their date line but there was something in the fine print about "great rates" for later w/ the end date of 12/17/09.

Has anyone called to find out what the "great rates" with the end date of 12/17 are, and if they apply to deluxe resorts? We are scheduled to go to the Poly in December, and was curious if it would be worth it to call and reprice it.

I just called and it was not a good deal for me. I had a room only at Pop for four nights and applying the big kids get little kids prices which added the QSDDP and a one day base ticket upped the price $100. I'm holding out for AP discounts.

I got the big kids go for little kids prices version. Our current plans (room only Sav View at AKL) and tix price out at $2320. With the pin we could get a moderate, tickets, and DDP for $2340. If we kept AKL it would be $3,000 or 3,400 depending on view with the pin. Basically if we downgrade rooms to a mod we get free dining but if we keep AKL it isn't a great deal. Still trying to decide what to do....

This is exactly the one I got too! I will call later & see what's left. The only negative is that they are not park hopper tickets & I love to park hop!

I wonder if they will let you upgrade to park hoppers. We definitely need the park hoppers. Anyone know?

TBGOES2DISNEY, I did price this out for free dinining is september vs 4/4 with kids free in October. To do the free dinning at PORS we could only buy a 2 day park pass with the total at $1530. To go in October it would cost $1560 and that is with 5 day passes. This is for two adults and 3 kids. October is better for us.

Very wierd indeed. My TA asked me to forward the e-mail I got on to her because she'd gotten so many different 'Goofy' ones.

The pin in my Disney Destination e-mail is not matching any of our names at my address. Disney looked under our names and no pin code is there.

I'm in the process of faxing this Goofy e-mail from Disney Destinations to them to see what they can do for me.

I'm not a happy camper right now.

I ran all the numbers and did call back and book using the big kids for little kids pin with dining. Ultimately the price for us was equivalent to free dining but at a much better time of year To upgrade from the DDP to the Deluxe version was an extra $30 per day per person. The cost in the pin is $11 per adult per day for dining but to upgrade to deluxe you had to pay the adult cost of DDP to get the Deluxe version. There is also a small discount on the room and then the tickets are kids priced as well which saved us $50 per person. We did not go with the deluxe because we would have used the extra meals mostly for TS breakfast so the savings wasn't really worth it for us, had it been deluxe plan at the deluxe kids price we definitely would have gone for it though. This pin was a great savings for us because both kids fell into adult ages. All total we saved over $900 with this pin and saved more than $500 over our previous booking which was 40% off for 3 nights and AAA rate for 2 nights room only. Had it not been for having 4 adults though we wouldn't have saved so much.

I just did & the CM told me I could use the same PIN thru December 17th. I was quoted for the Kids 3-9 free tix & dining. For 5 nights at POP from Dec 13-18th with regular dining it was $1338 & with Dlx Dining it was $1772.

I'm sure you could apply the PIN to other resorts too.

I also got the free dining pin! We're already going down in September and have the general public free dining for then, so we probably can't swing another trip so soon in order to actually take advantage of this pin, but I'm thrilled that I actually got something! No one in my family has gotten one in quite a while.

Yes, you can always upgrade to park hoppers. Can even do it at the parks after you have gotten the tickets at the resort.

Yup. I got the buy 5 get 2 free email.

I was quoted $3869 for 11/28-12/6 at the GF for 2A, 1C with 1 day base tickets and DxDDP. (Not sure if it included the gift card though.) That appears to be about 40% off the room.

We declined since we are already on a 40% discount for that time with a room only from a pin received earlier this year. This pin HAD to be a package deal and we are AP holders and don't need the tickets. We will keep what we have and use TiW instead of DxDDP.

I got the email 4 day/4 night for $377 for a value resort (10/2-11/24.)

Last year we got a pin and I paid $2765.14 for the CBR, free dining, 10 day MYW+park hopper . This was for 4 adults (dh, me, dd 13, ds 10) from 11/11-11/19.

I did the same thing with my TA. She is checking to see if the Kids Eat and Play Free code is a better deal for us than our current ressie. We have a deal with our TA for the Poly for around $200 total a night. I don't think this code will break that deal.
