Anyone get "Thank you for visiting" Email after?

I got an Email today to "Thank you for your recent visit. Hope you'll come back and visit again." It was signed by the General Manager of Fort Wilderness, where we were a month ago. Is this some new marketing tool from WDW? If so, it's a real nice idea. Although we've been to WDW 16 times, this is the first time we've ever gotten one. Anyone else?

We have 3 or more trips in the works this next year, so perhaps we will get lucky.

I've gotten them the last two times I've stayed at the Polynesian. Once was in 2002 and the other was this year. I also got a thank you card in the mail too from the GM. I think it is a fairly new thing as I've never gotten them before last year but we have always stayed in moderates before that. Maybe because we are in deluxes now that we qualify for this stuff! LOL!

We got a thank you email from AKL too. It was a Mickey Ears hat you could download with your name printed on it. Really cute. We were impressed!

Well, WL and CR did NOT send us one. And CR trip was a month ago, and WL 1 1/2 yrs ago. We shall see if AKL sends us one in Nov! Heehee. It may be that those 2 deluxes and all the mods were booked through SOG. The next 2 trips are not, so perhaps we will!

We got one from our May trip to the Poly--I thought it was a nice touch!

I have received them several times. Prior to the emails, we received the surveys in the mail.

I haven't received emails, but I get cards in the mail from the Poly the last two times we stayed.
