Anyone get canceled after borrowing points?

I modified my Aug trip and borrowed 25 points to do it.
But the reservation initially was done on borrowed points ... then, when my April trip got canceled, they reallocated the April trip
Points to the August trip and put the August points back into Oct 2020 uy.
So, the points borrowed for the Aug modification should just be the extra 25 I took .... even though it was originally all borrowed. But it’s all so confusing in the breakdown details, now I’m afraid they’re going to cancel me.
But if they cancel, they’d return everything to Oct 2020 uy ... right? That would give me more than my contract in that year - so they wouldn’t do that ... right?
Has it happened to anyone else?
I modified on May 31st. So, if the trip is still showing tomorrow, I’m good?
 
I don't know if I'd trust MS to not pull them back after the 7 days. I borrowed less than 50% of my BWC points but mistakenly took them all from 1 contract which resulted in more than 50% of that contract being borrowed. I cancelled the reservation but the borrowed points have not been returned to the original UY. I borrowed the points on May 30th at 3:30am (I should stay away from my account at that hour :P) . If the points are not taken back to the original UY this weekend I'll have to call MS.

Ok, but you canceled it. Disney says they will cancel within 7 days ... you never got to that point. They didn’t say anything about how long it would take to reallocate points.
So you think they’d cancel after the 7 day window even though their written procedures says it would be within that window?
Great ... now I’ll never have my mind at ease over it.
 
You're correct, I was assuming that canceling in 7 days implied that the points would be reallocated in 7 days. Silly me. I really don't want to call MS on Monday.

I might be in the same boat as you. I have a reservation in November (which was a re-book for a July trip- done before the borrowing limit) and borrowed some points, then we decided to book a last minute trip for 7/6, I booked this on 5/31 like you. I can't make sense of my trail of points in/out, banked, borrowed so i don't know if I made a mistake booking my July trip. Guess I shouldn't have never banked my current year points. So everyday is a waiting game. I did try calling MS but could never get through and this isn't something that i can hash out on a chat. So I'm just waiting and seeing. Hopefully they would call before just cancelling as i am guessing this all has to be done manually. Flights are booked so if not staying at WDW i guess we will hit up universal!
 
Here is what I know from my contact,

Borrowed points from before the new rule, can be used, above the 50%, as long as they remain borrowed and are put in new reservations before being returned,

If someone has less than the 50% borrowed before the announcement, they were now limited to only reach that 50%

If I understand, right now, you have only 25 borrowed points..if that is the case, you are fine because you are not above 50% as the other borrowed points were returned after they reallocated points from April.

I don’t think they’ll call :( I’ve seen posts from people who didn’t know why their reservations were gone when they logged in and it turned out that they borrowed more than 50%.
But - according to their own statement, the cancellation is supposed to happen within 7 days - so I think if our trips are still showing up In the morning, we should be good. 🤞

Many people have gotten the call and it was after the 7 days. But, as long as the number of borrowed points you have in the reservation from before the rule and what you borrowed after the rule, doesn’t go past 50%, you are good.
 
I was going to use points that expire sooner for my Dec trip. I borrowed 100% of my 2021 UY for the reservation. I booked back in January. I am grandfathered in but the CM told me this morning if I touch it it could be cancelled. I can remove days but the reservation itself I cannot alter.
