Anyone get an AP for Poly????

Called for AP discount this morning and nothing was available for Poly garden or lagoon view. She said there was nothing for Poly at all this time. DID ANYONE GET A DISCOUNT OR WAS IT A TOTAL SHUT OUT FOR THE POLY??

I was just told the only thing at poly right now was an ap for a honeymoon suite and some type of concierge room. I was calling for the cr so I didn't inquire too much further.

Poly books up even without discounts. We always stay there and rarely get an AP rate for it.

called a moment ago and got nothing, even with a number of diff. dates.

we've stayed there the last few days of each of our last 4 trips and we've gotten the AP rate each time, so i know they are usually offered....

now the panic of trying to make a quick decision-- stay with poly w/ AAA rate, or try out the Beach Club w/AP rate....arrrgghhh.

Same thing for me. There was nothing available at all at the Poly. I thought it was just because I called at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time. At least now I don't have to kick myself for not waking up earlier to check for a code this morning.

I've been able to secure an AP rate for the Poly every year for the past 6 years.

I'm not surprised that it wasn't offered this year, though. It's a popular spot for a reason. I booked a whle ago, hoping for an AP rate, but willing to pay rack if it wasn't offered. I'm not planning on switching!

I imagine it depends on when you are going whether you can get the AP discount. There were none for June 3rd and beyond last year for the Poly nor the year after.

I'm new to the boards, so sorry if this was already asked. I'm booked at the Poly from 10/21-10/25 and need to be on the monorail for the little ones. Do they ever give discounts to any of the 3 Hotels on the monorail? I would switch, but my husband loves the poly. Right now I just have the AAA rate.

My experience today was the same. We have reservations for the Polynesian 20-28 April. (We are booked for Garden View). I checked the DIS at work during lunch and saw the code came out. I got my cell phone and called CRO. The CM I got had a real attitude and said nothing was available. I called back, got a nicer CM and she told me the same thing and that GF(C), Saratoga Springs and the Campground. I wasn't interested in any of those.

When I got home from work just now, I checked my email and had an email for AP rate, with a different code. I called the passholder line and got a nice CM. Nothing for Poly. She said GF was available for $324/night. We are paying $385 at the Poly. I wasn't sure what to do. I called DH and he said that was a decent price difference. Then he asked if I wanted to stay at GF. I replied "not really". He didn't want to either, so we kept our rack rate reservations.

When we went in October, we did have an AP discount. Oh well, thank goodness for our tax return check!

I'm in the same boat - I have an AAA rate at POLY now for May 3-12, but when I called earlier there was nothing for POLY or CR. Only thing on the monorail is for my time frame is GF LV, which is 399/night + tax, which is more than I'm already paying. I can get BC, YC, or BWI for 258/night + tax, but I really wanted to stay at POLY again...but I'm having a very hard time rationalizing the appox. $900 total difference!!

Disney informed us today that NO Annual Pass discount is available during these Poly dates, 4/20-4/29 (2007). Furthermore, no AP discount is apparantly available anywhere except maybe in All-Stars. This is very very
disappointing and we have been trying to find out these rates for weeks now.

We do have our reservations but are going to have to pay Rack Rates unless there is some remedy here.

Apparently most of the hotels are booked solid and the AP offer is not available during this week. 4/20 is before the 4/15 date and is the
Regular Season.

We were told no AAA either but we can get this discount???

Any thoughts or suggestions??? Thanks.

Same for me. I called today about April 18-23 and nothing was available. We are booked in a gardenview at rack rate, but oh well it's a surprise mom & daughter trip for my dd's 14th birthday and she has always wanted to stay at the Poly so I'm just keeping what we have. May have to re-think that MK fireworks cruise I have booked though!
