Anyone get AAA discount today?

I haven't had time to call but wondered if anyone else had gotten AAA discount for 2005 visit yet?

AAA 2005 packages are out for wdw properties only. Disney reservations told me last night that discounts on room and non Disney owned properties will "trickle out over the next 2weeks.

I spoke with three different CM's tonight and asked for AAA room only or AAA package for 2005. All three said the 2005 AAA rates are not out yet. Has anyone been able to get a AAA quote for 2005?

johnnyr ~ I did not get a quote for AAA package rates for 2005 because I need room only, but the CM told me that the package rates were out for AAA for 2005...the room-only rates were not out yet, but he definitely said the package rates were out. Maybe try calling CRO again. Maybe a different CM can help you.

hhender102 - Last week I called to try and get a AAA room only rate for March 2005. I wasn't interested in a package, but the CM said AAA package rates for 2005 were out. I never checked if they were available for March. Today, I called back and figured while I was on the phone, I would get the AAA package quote just for the heck of it, but no luck three times. Maybe they are only available for early 2005, who knows.

I am getting package quotes for April 2005 through Chicago AAA. Room discounts are not out.

I don't know which AAA you are dealing with, but I am booked!

I was calling CRO to see if the room-only discounts were out because that is who I booked through. I believe that johnnyr is also attempting to book through WDW directly as opposed to through AAA.

Do you know if you can apply a discount code (if one would come out) being booked through AAA? I had heard that you could not because you were getting their discount (and you were booked through them), and they "wouldn't/couldn't" change that. While a AAA discount is far better than nothing at all, I am hoping for room-only codes or AP codes for the time we are going.

I would think AAA would honor anything that would get them business. I have booke a moderate package to make sure I get some discount and the resort I want When the other codes and packages come out I will check which ones are better, and them let them try and beat the lowest rate. If they can't, I will go out on my own and cancel AAA. I am hoping for a great rate at Swan/Dolphin

Spoke with local AAA today - still don't have disount room only rates. They did quote me a rate, but it is the same as what I already have booked through Disney, which is of course rack rate.
