I just adore the Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it parade! I love the costumes, the music, like you say the way the characters remove themselves from the floats and mingle with the guests! Love the birthday at the end with the mini firework/confetti explosion!

Nice family photo of the three of you at the MK entrance. As I was walking through your update I wish thinking oh my those clouds appear to be getting darker is it going to rain on their parade...glad it held!

I love the photo of you with the Donald on the float in the background.

How nice re the surprise appearance from Sundial! Well done for keeping mute I just adore Dhorner's shirt how cute! Your dismeet looks so much fun and at the Columbia House as well! What a lovely day

I really love Mitch Albom. His writing his phenomenal. I haven't read that one though so I'll be keeping my eye out for it the next time i'm at the library.

Great update and how great was that you got to meet a few DISers that day.

The "Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It" pictures look very nice but I don't know why I am not a huge fan of that parade. Maybe it was due to the fact at DL that it had a similar parade called "Celebrate! A Street Party" which DL didn't call it a parade more like a street event where it stopped at DL at specific areas on the parade route and it gets involved with the guests.

How nice that you went back to the park in the afternoon. I like the family photo. Those clouds look nasty. I am glad that the weather held off for you. That DIS Meet sounded great and well done for pulling off the surprise.

I'm usually not a big parade kind of person so I often end up skipping the parades. Perhaps I should try and watch a few more.

We generally like CHH for a CS at MK. It's a nice variety of choices. I love it that you were able to stall everyone so that Ed could make his grand entrance! What a great DISmeet!

And to play the "where were the other DISers?" game. Paula, Jo and I had just wrapped up our little meet at the Lobby of the VWL and Fran and I had picked up our rental car so that we could have another DISmeet the next day. We were getting all gussied up to gorge ourselves at V&A's!

What perfect memories of that day! I will say again how grateful I am to my family for sending me on this trip! With the years' financial difficulties, I'd managed to save enough but not enough for both DH and I to go. I just didn't have the heart to ask him if he'd "please stay home so I could PLAY with my friends"! I wasn't "envious" of all of you...I was DOWN RIGHT JEALOUS! I STILL thank DH and my girls for gifting me with such a perfect trip! AND...now I know how you managed to pull off the "Ed surprise"! That was so special of him, making the 2 1/2 hour trip to Orlando just to meet with all of us. Hugs to him also! You managed to pull the surprise off PERFECTLY. I never noticed your texting and "maneuvering" and didn't have any problems with your "lateness" ; it gave me more one on one time with Denise and I know how easy it is to "get behind" in the park! What's really funny is...while you and your family were watching the parade...SO WAS I:

I liked the parade very much. But I still think the Flight of Fantasy at HKDL is a shade better.

That shirt is fantastic. I want one too.

Thanks for popping in, Jeff! We did think about you and Diane on that night. Such a shame that you couldn't quite coordinate a trip at the same time I was there. I think you would have enjoyed hanging out on the last night with Ed and myself. All we did was take pictures.

And yes, Ed does get to meet everyone, doesn't he?
