Anyone from Wisconsin??

Forgot to add that we drive. A big bus with 3 drivers...staight thru in around 27 to 30 hours. We can do it in 25 hours in a car. (faster speed limit thru ILL in a car then a bus.

Live in Gurnee (IL) have cottage in Silver Lake (WI) and shop often on rt 50 in Kenosha.

We drive down every year. Straight thru, stopping only for gas, it takes us 19.5 to 20 hours. We leave about 7 pm this puts us through Chicago and other major cities at good times. We do this with small childeren. This year they will be 5 & 6 yrs old. We have movies in the van to keep them quiet.

We're from Eau Claire! Getting ready for our second family trip this August!

Hi all, from the brat capital, Sheboygan. We were in WDW in Dec. for over a week. Just before the big crowds came. It was fantastic no lines, good weather, and lots of Pixie Dust. Paula70 you are going the same time that we have traditionally gone you should have a great time. This is the first time in awhile that we don't have a trip on the books. But, we are going to build a new home and that is where our $ will be going for awhile. I will have to relie on the Dis for my Disney fix for awhile. :wizard:

Great to see so many Wisconsinites here.
I love Wisconsin, but still hope to someday spend my winters :cold: near Disney and my summers right here! :sunny:

Fond du Lac here... Actually North Fond du Lac :earsboy: Going to Disney in THREE DAYS... SOOOO excited! We fly out of Mitchell Saturday Morning and staying for ten days. Lots of you on the boards from the Milwaukee area. My hubby goes to school at MSOE, he has a long drive everyday, but is used to it. Glad to see so many of you from Wisconsin posting on here.

We fly.

Actually ... we have driven twice. Once over 1999/2000 NYE when airfares and car rentals were astronomical. Then a couple years later when we visited my in-laws in Syracuse and then drove down. We stopped both times each way ... I find myself too burned out by doing a "straight thru" drive.

Hi all,

I am checking in from Casco, WI. Casco is 20 miles NE of Green Bay and about 5 miles south of Door County.

Hi Abe bb,
My mom lives in Eau Claire. Do your kids play basketball for Memorial?

Well you have certainly come to the right spot to find out about Disney. I found this site before our first trip to Disney in '05 and have spent many hours on it.

Enjoy!!!

We are getting married on the 14 of april. Looks like we will be there at the sme time!!! It is one of my favorites times of the year to go there. I think for me it is because I got engaged then and will be married then!

Just moved from Bay View to East Troy 3 years ago. Lived all my life in Bay View and miss it soooo much! No Groppi's out here :guilty: !!!!!
We are going to DW on January 20 thru 27. Nice to see a lot of fellow Wisconsinites AND "SOUT" SIDERS here!! :sunny:

We are in Stevens Point. Great town and I like being in the middle of the state (our families are further "up north", but not too far).

I have been planning a "girls' trip" (my Mom, my DD 6, and me) for the last few months and now it is coming up in only 16 days!!! I can't wait. My DD6 has grounded me from talking about the trip, because I was "driving her nuts". :rotfl2:
