Anyone from the London, Ontario area ??

I am from London and was hoping to connect with others, like myself and 2 kids, who love Disney. I was told by a wonderful lady at a major clothing store last night that many people get together, do picnics etc. I would love to introduce my kids to families who have similar interests.

I too am from London. I'm a bit of a Disney fanatic and our next trip is scheduled for this October. I've never heard of picnic get togethers in the area but I'd certainly be interested.

Is there anyone else out there from the London area?

My wife and I and our 4 kids are from London and in the summer I spend many a morning at Kinsmen arena at the splash pad with the kids if anyone is interested in hanging out and talking Disney while the kids run amok.

Christine we are also going in Oct when will you be there and where are you staying? we are leaving home on the 10th and we will be back home on the 29th we are going to FW this trip.

We've had a couple of DIS meets in London, although I think it's been a while since the last one. I remember the first was down at Tiger Jack's more years ago that I care to remember. Maybe it's time we have another. Summer's probably a bad time to try and schedule something but for us, once our DD17s hockey season gets started, our weekends are spoken for until April.

I think that maybe we could plan on an autumn "get-to-together". The later part of September ??? A meeting at a restaurant, park or event like a hayride or African Lion Safari ???? Any suggestions ??? Or maybe one after Halloween (I am going to WDW in late Nov for 2 weeks) ?? It would be nice to meet up with a bunch. Does anyone scrapbook ?? collect Disneyana ??

My wife scrapbooks but not a lot she has still got a number that are started and not even close to being finnished LOL. We used to get people together at Kinsmen or Tiger Jacks etc for meet and greets to show off pics and discuss upcoming trips but no one around here has set one up in awhile.

we are from about 75 minutes Northwest of London. The four of us will be at WDW the same time as F4disneyfan, October 19-29th. We are offsite for a week, then at OKW.

Early Oct is a no go for us we will be too busy with school getting all the kids work together for our trip that starts the second week of Oct.

We should have a vote on the months, since this seems to be our problem. One vote for August here (possibly late July, but that might be late notice to some).

Aug is out for us as teh wife and kids are away for most of the month camping and the kids are at Doe lake then in Sudbury for a week.

Hi there. Another one from London ... just haven't been on the boards very much lately. I think the last official DIS meet we had was at the park in June 2004. I've been to a couple at Tiger Jack's before that. And we had some of our friends come from the GTA area as well as Woodstock.

I have the first week of August off, DH doesn't, so the kids and I are just hanging out in "Puerta Backyarda" - LOL. Maybe a Splash pad meet somewhere that week? My DD is 11 and my DS is 8.

Sadly, no upcoming trips planned for us. But would love to live vicariously through everyone else.
