Anyone from Stevens Point, WI?

We will be spending a few days in Stevens Point while my son is at a sports camp at UWSP. Any thoughts of what to do and see? I know the Point Brewery is there, but what else?

Also, so inexpensive restaurants would be helpful too.

i'm not in stevens point (from west bend, wi) but, there should be plenty for you to do there. looks like there are quite a few restaraunts. enjoy your trip.

We live about an hour north of there, but any time we are in Point, we stop at Belts ice cream. It is the best around. For instance, their chocolate chip cookie dough blizzards have home made type cookie dough in them, and a big spoonful of it on top. Just as an example of the type of place it is, you should try to stop there if you like that kind of thing.
