Anyone from Scarborough or nearby??

Hi

We are coming to Scarborough for a few days, including New Years Eve, and I need advice on where we can go for NYE.

I want to get something booked as I know NYE gets booked up round here pretty quick, so I am guessing it's the same everywhere else.

We probably want a Restaurant (either chinese or italian / american style), and then something after.

I looked at Tricollo's, and that looks quite good.

Any other ideas?

We are 24 and 27 so want somewhere fun, but not anywhere that's going to be full of 16 year olds!!

I`ve no advice for evenings, but during the day visit the Harbour Bar on the seafront. It`s a 1950`s coffee bar and great for coffee and icecream even in winter!

Actually, the Harbour Bar was the inspiration behind us going to Scarborough.
DH used to visit the Harbour Bar when he was little, and wanted to take me there, but I have booked us in for 3 nights over New Year as a surprise for part of his Xmas Pressie.

Karen....can you leave this with me until the weekend??. We dont live to far away but my brother and sister in law live in Scarborough ...they are younger so know all the decent places....will be on the phone to them on Friday so will ask!!

I like the look of Tricollos but I'm not sure if it will be ok as there will only be 2 of us, and I think it might be full of groups of people and we might feel a bit odd??
