I am from bc and going to dl in Oct, can anyone tell me where is the best place to buy tickets to the parks? has anyone bought park hopper tickets online? I checked out mousesavers and there tickets were quite a bit cheaper than what the travel agent quoted, also what about transfers from lax to hotel? what about the comfort inn maingate , compared to howard Johnson? thanks for any info.

Don't forget that when you're comparing the prices of park tickets between your Canadian travel agent and anyplace in US dollars that you've not only got the exchange rate to factor in but the credit card company's foreign currency conversion fee. I think my Visa's is at around 2%.

Definitely go with the HoJo over the Comfort Inn (in my opinion). LAX to DL I prefer using Super Shuttle.

We just returned from SoCal last week and bought the Southern California City Pass through Costco. It was the best value with 3 park hopper days with DL, Seaworld, San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal Kingdom and Knott's Farm. The only catch is you do have to have a US credit card and US address to buy from Costco.com. I have family in Anaheim, so I took advantage of the great price at Costco.

Costco.ca doesn't offer this ticket package. You can also buy this package directly from citypass.com too. There sometimes are deals for Canadians listed on this site too.

If you want to buy only tickets to DL, check out mousesavers.com for tips on where to buy. Also pop into the Canadian forum (under Planning Community, I think). There will be more help from other Canadians.

I'm a newbie at this and to Disney so this is the extend to my experience, lol.
