I have 4 nights at BLT with DH & DGS (8) before our 5 night DCL cruise with his whole family! We get back just a bit before Lithia schools start! BLT dates 6-10!

Whoo Hooo! We'll be blistering in the sun as well. Our first DVC trip. We will be at SSR from 8/20-8/27 right before school starts. Can't wait!!

Count us in for our first AKV stay! We'll be at Kidani 8/12-8/20. We've been doing August for the past few years...this trip is a little earlier than usual for us, though...have to send our two oldest off to college when we get back! (wow!)

We are returning for our 8th Annual August WDW trip!! This year we are going Aug 15-23rd -- staying at OKW. People look at us like we have 4 heads when I tell them we love going in august. We find that it works for our family and the weather doesn't bother us. Yeah its hot but heck its hot at home here in CT too -- except we are having more fun in WDW!!!

We will be going August this year too. We actually begin our trip July 29th- Aug 1 at BLT (first time!!!!) Then onto a 4 night trip on the Dream. After the cruise we will be at BCV (first time there too!!) from Aug 5- Aug 11. We have been in August a lot, mostly because I'm a teacher and that is when I have time off.

We will be there in August but not in a DVC resort. We are staying at the Poly for 3 nights from 8/28-8/31 then switching over to BLT from 8/31-9/9. We are so excited about this trip (we don't mind the heat or humidity), first time staying for almost 2 weeks plus we are doing both WPs and DisneyQuest for the first time. This will also be our first time staying at BLT, it became our home resort when we first became members back in 2010, however this will be the first time we will be going to our home away from home .

We are going in August as well. This will be our third August trip in the last four years and the longest. We will be staying in an OKW 1 bedroom from 8/6 - 8/12 (our first stay at OKW). We are then moving to the Hard Rock hotel at Universal from 8/12 - 8/17 (our first time staying onsite at Universal). finally we are returning to Disney to stay in a 2bdr at AKL from 8/17 - 8/24. Including some stops driving down and back from Maine and some time with relatives along the way this year's vacation will last almost the enire month of August. It will be hot, but we have enjoyed our August vacations in Florida in the past. Lots of rest and lots of water is the key!

Going August 1 - 8 at BCV. Went there last year at the same time for the same reason, no other available time for our son to make it and we spent both Winter and Spring breaks looking at colleges.

Very hot, pools are like bathtubs but we still enjoyed it. You will too.

We are going Aug 17-23 at Kidiani, Aug 23-30 at BLT, Aug 30-Sept 2 at BWV. We have been going to WDW in August for the last 14 years. Yes it is very hot, rainy and chance of hurricanes, but the crowd level is very manageable. Crowds pick up around Labor Day weekend. We go that time because school starts here after labor day. Unfortunately this summer will be the last end of August for us because my daughter will be starting college next year.

We are low on points (having just been to Aulani on mostly borrowed points) and will be staying on cash for two weeks in August on free dining. This will be our third August traveling with FD, though the previous two years we also spent a week on points at Hilton Head. We too enjoy traveling with the kids right before school starts in NJ.
