Since I will be riding my 100th coaster at Cedar Point on 5/4, who wants to come along with me on opening day? I heard crowds are pretty bad, but I got to do it.

So who thinks they can come? Just wanted to put out a feeler...

It's open that weekend?? I was hoping I'd get to go before our trip! I thought CP didn't open till the day before we leave for WDW... this is good news. I wanna go!

Sorry Barry, sounds like fun but we have plans. SO, Scarlett873, her DH and I are going to PKI that weekend as sort of a mini trip to celebrate mine and SO's Birthdays, 4-27 (me) and 5-4 (SO)....of course we would rather be celebrating at WDW, but this is just a tad ( ) bit cheaper and closer!!! ;)

I wish I could Barry... that's a Sunday though and Sundays are no good for me when I I have to drive more than an hour for a meet. I wish I could be there to witness this though.

FYI---The park is ONLY open to the public on SUNDAY May 4, not Saturday. I believe Longaberger rents the park on Sat for their company employees.

And Barry---maybe..........

if i'm off and weather is nice i might drive up got season pass might as well put it to good use.

If we have our CP season passes by then, and if I can get away, I'll make the drive over to Sandusky. Sundays are a very busy day at our house. We seem to be driving back and forth to church all day long. I'll do my best to be free then, but I can't make any promises.

***UPDATE***

It doesn't look good for May 4th. I'm singing with the choir at the 10:30AM church service. DD Sarah is joining the church at that same service. DW Sue is working that day at the flower shop in preparation for Mother's Day. It is going to be one of the busiest Sundays of 2003.

If there is any way that I can get away, I will.

John-It's a DIS Meet, you'll find a way to be there! FYI-if you don't have your pass yet but have your voucher, they will let you in the park ONCE with your voucher (avoiding the long lines at the pass place).
