Anyone following the Tour de Lance?

I'm addicted to OLN every day from the minute the coverage starts. Of course, THEN I have to watch it again when DH comes home at night. We love July and look forward to Le Tour every year.

I've been watching coverage of the tour every year since 1992 (back when you could only catch it on network sports Saturday afternoon).

I love watching the race with my son in the morning. Both of us commented that someone will sobatoge him. A plastic bag came out at the end and it blew behind him and he looked back at it. The commentator's pretended they did see it today, but we did.

His personal life, in the beginning of the race, he didn't qualify for the Olympics and he said it didn't matter cause he hasn't seen his son in 6 months, he's been training. Hey buddy you also have twin daughters. I just feel bad for his wife, but who are we to judge what is going on in his personal life.

You know, I'm not fond of his personal life either. I hate it when adults bring babies into the world and then forget they have them...what is up with that? But, like Deb said, his physical accomplishments are astounding!

We are fellow human beings is who we are! He is an extrordinary athlete, and I wish him well because he worked hard to get where he is, and I also reserve the right to say that if he was instrumental in the break up of his marriage, he did a crappy thing to his wife and kids. I don't understand why it would be wrong to say that!

Watching the end of Thursday morning's leg of the race was so exciting! Rarely does cycling excite me, but this was exceptional! Go Lance!!

I'm a also a very big fan! I kind of wondered about his personal life, but who knows what goes on in relationships? Sheryl Crow and him seem to make a really nice couple.

I agree that yesterday's ending was incredible. I am hooked on the TDF!

As far as Lance Armstrong concerned - he really does seem somewhat arrogant and not such a great family man..but his wife DID know what she was getting into. Reading the column that she used to post on his website and from the books I have read, she didn't seem like all that much of a prize either.

For those of you who are following....I am still bummed out about Tyler Hamilton!
