Anyone flying out of Detroit????.............

Just curious if anyone is flying out of Detriot. Has anyone received a good price? I just received the cyber specials but there only until Oct. 30 and we're flying out Nov.6th. I'm just praying we'll get a special!

I flew in May with my DD and DGD. We used Spirit Airlines
and flew out of Detroit. We got a good price. It was just over
200 return for each of us. We didn't get a meal but it was only a
2-1/2 hour flight.
But Northwest also offers good fares. You just have to keep checking. We took Robert Q to the Detroit Airport and even with paying for that it was still alot cheaper than flying out of Toronto.

We are flying out of Detroit next week on Spirit Airlines.

We got our tickets for $115.70 US each

I thought that was a really great price!!!!

Depending on where you live, look at flying out of Flint, MI. Both Air Tran and NWA have direct, non-stop flights, and Northwest's are often cheaper than flying out of DTW. We're flying Spirit from DTW in December and are paying about US$220 each, including first class (or whatever passes for first class on Spirit) on the return flight.

on Oct 5th and got unbelievable rates of $97 per person including taxes and everything. The total came to $290.35 for all 3 of us to fly non-stop to MCO. We were very happy!!

I always seem to find the best prices on Spirit. Years ago we used to fly either NW or Delta, but Delta always seems to have a layover and NW is usually priced much higher than Spirit. I last flew Spirit in May to FLL and they were great.
