Just a word of advice - they are VERY strict on weighing hand luggage, if it is over 5kg (which sounds a lot but actually isnt!) then they tell you to take stuff out and put it in your case. There were loads of people (including me) opening cases in the check in que.
The stupid thing is that they were telling us to take out cameras, jackets etc out of hand luggage, weighing the bags then saying it was ok to put them back in again!!
Another word of warning re check in - Make sure your attendant adds up your the weight of your luggage correctly. The girl who checked us in told us we were 20kg over, and when we questioned this, she realised it was her adding up that was wrong and she was 10kg out. We also discovered that her scales wegihed heavier than another scale so demanded that all our luggage be re weighed on another scale, cos if we were going to be charged for excess luggage, we wanted it to be on the lower weight! In the end, she let us through without having to pay. I think this was to shut us up before anyone else wanted their stuff re weighed!
