anyone fly with a britax roundabout???

We're back from our trip and I just wanted to thank everyone again for the input. I knew I could count on this board at the last minute!

By the way, I misspoke and typed Roundabout, when we really have the Marathon which is bigger. It worked just fine though. We couldn't pull the tray down, but I don't think you could do that with any carseat. I'm so glad we brought it though because my 2 year old never asked to get down and slept comfortably for most of the long flight.

Thanks also who suggested letting her walk or carry her & just push the seat in the stroller. Much easier!

Sorry this reply is late, but I have flown with both Roundabout and Marathon and had no problems getting the seat to fit.

For future reference, if you don't want to haul the seat through the terminal, get one of those folding luggage carts (around $15 at WalMart). You bungee cord the carseat to the rack and wheel it behind you. You can even put small carryons on top of the seat as well. This has saved us from straps digging into shoulders, forearms, etc.
