Anyone flown Mytravel?

Hi,

We are booked to go from Manchester to Sanford with Airtours in October, and I have been reading all sorts of bad things about the airline they have said we will probably be flying with, My travel.

Has anyone flown with them? Can you tell me what it was like? Are the seat really tiny because we are a family of 2 very pooh sized adults and 2 teenage kids, and when I asked the rep on the phone about seat size and whether we would need the upgrade, he said we wouldn't!

I'm now getting worried and am hoping that someone can help

HI,

We flew with them in september last year and had no problems whatsoever! the flight was no where near full and we had a row of 3 seats for the two of us. Also it had seat back tvs with a good selection of films. I believe that not all of their planes have these but fingers crossed u'll get one! I didnt find the leg room to be any different to others flights. We're going with them again on June 9th so will let you know what they are like then!!

I'm a bit concerned as it will be half term, so I'm betting that the plane will be full. Would it be possible for you to take a couple of photos of the inside of the plane and post them on here for me to see when you get back? It would give me some idea of what to expect, and I would still have time to get on to the travel agents if I needed to.

We have flown with Mytravel twice to Orlando, in economy and premium seats. Both flights were fine, if you are concerned about space in the seats then go for the upgrade, the seats are bigger and more comfortable with extra legroom. Both cabins had seat back TVs, food was fine and cabin crew were friendly. We had no delays.
The configuration in premium cabin is 2-3-2 and the ecomony cabin is 3-3-3, but also has some seats at the back in 2's which might give you a bit more room, as the aisle is wider there. The pictures on here might give you some idea of what to expect.

they were fine. we flew with them last year and where really nervous because it was our first trip to Florida since our sons accident and they were honestly fine. Like loadsapixiedust said on another thread some people are fine with ecomony it all depends on what you want / need. for us economy is fine as we aren't that hard to please but because of our son and the lifting etc we are trying premair this year.

It may be worth asking about the upgrade. When we phoned just to enquire, I was told they were running a special offer and ended up getting upgrades for 4 of us for the price of 2 (£358 for 4)
