anyone familiar with UPS shipping lingo

I had an order from Lands End shipped last week. The estimated arrival date was today. However, when I check the shipping progress, it says "destination scan" on Fridayl. Does that mean it was supposedly delivered on Friday? I didn't get it. We have several streets around here that sound the same, and I don't like the thought that the woman on the next street has my swimsuit or someone grabbed it, but I don't want to call UPS until I'm sure that's what it means. It does not say "Delivered", but "destination scan".

If I remember correctly it means that has made it to the hub that services your area. They are getting it ready for delivery.

Doxdogy is right. Destination scan is the tracking they do at the hub.

Yes...when it is on the way to your house it will say "out for delivery"....or something like that
