Anyone familiar with LYNX in Orlando?

I was wondering if anyone has used the LYNX system in Orlando and their opinions on it in terms of transportation to non-Disney attractions, shopping, dining, etc.? I'll be traveling with my 2 kids (DD9/DS5) and won't be renting a car and would like to go off-site for a day or two if it won't be terribly inconvenient.

We used it one time to go to SeaWorld...that is a direct route. We picked it up at TTC, about $1.50 pp each way. It took about 25 mins to get to SW. While I liked being able to do this, I wouldn't recommend doing it to any other spot in Orlando. You have to make transfers for just about everyplace else, and I just wouldn't be comfortable doing that.
