I am looking for a hotel in Downtown Atlanta that offers a full kitchen. Maybe my Google skills are off today but I can only find one - The Residence Inn and they seem to only have rooms with one bed?? :confused3 My husband and son need a place preferably within walking distance of the World Congress Center. I can't believe I am striking out in a city so big.

The only advice I can give is where NOT to stay! DO not under any circumstances stay at the Holiday Inn Airport North! Stay away! Do not let the name Holiday Inn fool you. I had to stay there while on a business trip and it was scary! I had a man try to sell me a pencil and a shoe in the parking lot for 2 dollars, I am certain he was trying to rob me, he kept saying just take out your wallet lady.... and there was a shooting at the gas station next door at 1pm in the afternoon. There were some flight attendents that stayed there and told me to put the dresser in front of the door, and not to open it for any reason at night. (it opened to the street like a motel) I get the heeby jeebies just thinking about it! And I come from the city, I do not scare easily!! Their website is very inaccurate.

The Georgian Terrace has full kitchen...they used to be condos...so you can have couple bedrooms/ LR, kitchen even washer/dryer..this would be good if staying long...but probably little long to walk..its across from Fox Theater

my favorite is the omni at CNN Center...they have a fridge..I don't think they have full kitchen...but they bring you free drinks in Am, sometimes at PM.
Good restaurants and room service and of course food court.

I know the Twelve hotel at Atlantic Station has full kitchens in their rooms. I love to stay there. Not too sure how close it is to the World Congress Center, though. There's also a Twelve at Centennial Park.

Thanks for the info everyone. Both places look perfect but Twelve will be the shortest walk. I wish it was a little cheaper but I will continue checking back. They aren't going until April.
