We are going for my DD's 5th birthday. We are AP holders, so we go quite often, but have not experienced this. Is it worth the money? What time of the day is it usually held?
TIA!
Belinda

We have done it in the past and would not do it again, it's a huge waste of money for what you get in my honest opinion. We worked a character meal into our budget instead as part of a birthday celebration and couldn't have been happier. :)

ETA: It was offered in a few different time slots throughout the day, I can't remember exactly what times though. It is $15 per person.

We've done the birthday celebration at Plaza Inn twice and loved it both times!

The first time was for my birthday! I was only 1 of 2 adults celebrating with all the kiddos, but we had a blast! It was $10 then, not sure how much it is now, and we got to decorate a cake! Yes, it's silly, but it was a lot of fun! You do a conga line with Mickey and Minnie and get to take a pic with them!

The second time was for my nieces birthday and she loved it too!

I say it's totally worth the $10!

We did it last year & neither of my kids liked it very much. For the price of it, we could have paid for a child's character meal & got a lot of character interaction. Mickey & Minnie show up, do a short conga line & then you line up for pics with them.......NO AUTOGRAPHS!! We found the cake very dry & the frosting stained my 4 yr olds eyebrow red.

I found (for our family) there are much better options to celebrating birthdays.

Good luck with your decision....happy birthday & enjoy your trip!!

We did it 4 years ago when my oldest was turning 4. She loved it! As the PP said, back then, it was only $10, which I think was worth it, but now that it's 15.99 or whatever it is, I think that's too much.

We did this last year for DD13s bday in October at 2 on a weekday it was 15$ per person for individual cake and drink. DD13 loved it it was cute and fun all ages attended and Mickey and Minnie made appearances for photos. It was a good time that DD always talks about. We will do it again :)

This is a 1st Birthday family tradition for us. :goodvibes Back then it was $10. It's silly and overpriced, but something I think you should try at least once.
