Anyone Experience Marvel Day at Sea

Under 80 days until our Thanksgiving cruise out of NY (no flight wooooooo). We are taking the 8 day very Merrytime cruise with a Marvel Day at Sea. 2 years ago we went on Star Wars cruise and absolutely loved it. So has anyone out there been a part of Marvel Day? What can we expect? I know it's done during a Sea day but anyone know what day it is? Any information would be appreciated.

I believe that the Marvel Day at Sea is new this year. It's on the Magic, and she's not back to NY until October.

You can look at your cruise activities calendar on your reservation and it should show you what the different theme nights are. At least it will indicate when Pirate night is, so I'd figure it also shows when Marvel day is.

We are going on the 8 night to Bahamas on the Magic from NYC - Oct 6 to the 14th. Marvel day for us is Thursday Oct 12th.
Sat: formal night
Mon: Bahamas/ pirate night
Tues: Castaway
Weds: WDW
Thurs: marvel

We're on the 10/6/17 sailing, which I believe is the first sailing with the Marvel Day at Sea. We've been told that Thursday is the Marvel day, but it is NOT listed in the Cruise Activities section on the DCL site the way Pirate Night is. People have called DCL to ask and have been told Thursday. Just in case you are waiting for it to show up in your cruise activities calendar.... we're still waiting.

Marvel day is Friday on the Thanksgiving cruise, or so that's what "they" say, so far. I'm on this one, too. Current assumption seems to be that it will run like the SW cruises, where there are a number of things to pick from and you're assigned to (hopefully your top two) but really no one will know until October.
