Anyone Ever Transfer From Airport But Back To A Resort?

We would like to take DCL bus from the airport to the port. I thought we would transfer back to the airport. But now we will be staying a couple days after the cruise. Will they transport us to a WDW resort instead of back to the airport? Anyone ever do this before?

We did that on our 4 day magic trip back in 2000. We took bus from airport to Port then upon return took bus from port to Wilderness Lodge. I believe they have several buses head from the port to various resorts. Our bus stopped at a couple other resorts in addition to Wilderness lodge.
