I think I looked it on my last trip.

the hotel looked fine - the area didn't. It had alot of warehouses near it.

I might one day still be tempted - I like $40 a night. myself!

you definitely need a car!!!

we were there in the daytime (not night) and there wasn't much action going on near it - so it might be fine.
