Anyone ever stay at the Caribe Royale in Orlando?

One of my bosses did about six years ago. She crinkled her nose when I asked her how it was--it was one of those moments that you just remember, you know? She had been there for about three nights before moving to the BWI for three more nights, and she liked that quite a bit.

To be fair, she normally stayed in Hiltons on the low end and Four Seasons on the high end.

I've never heard glowing reports, but havn't heard a ton of complaints either, so it's proabbly "OK." Nothing more, nothing less.

As an FYI, we stayed at the DTD Hilton on a great Internet rate with a AAA discount on top of it, and thought it was well worth the $100 or so we paid for it.

I've never stayed there...seems way overprice to comparable hotels.

I just got back from staying there for a work convention and I thought it was a great hotel! The rooms were about 190 a night including the taxes for the one bedrom suite, but they were huge! I would love to stay here with a family. Kids would die with happiness at the gigantic pool! It is also pretty close to WDW, about a 10 minute drive. If you can't stay on property, I think this is a good alternative.
