Just curious is anyone has ever sold their property to someone else WITHOUT using a broker? Just curious how it went for them?

We sold a Fairfield timeshare. It went well but it did take a higher degree of trust on both of our parts. I purchased the document kit from TUG for the sale but Fairfield was very helpful as well. Depending on who your timeshare is with, you should check with them and see what they can help you with.

I sold a Vistana unit without a broker, it was easy, we used Timeshare Closing Services in Orlando, they handled all the transactions, money title search everything, the buyer paid the closing costs which were about $400.00. They e-mailed me the packet and then handled everything, we just had to go to our local bank and signed the paperwork in front of them, a bank is some kind of different type of notary, and they do it for free.

DVC should be one of the easiest to sell without a broker. Once my trade for more points goes through, I'll likely sell one of my OKW contracts. My plan is to advertise on Bidshares and TUG. Once we have an agreement in place I'll fax it to DVC for the ROFR determination. Once the waiver is done we then send a copy of the deed, waiver and contract to a closing agent who prepares the deed, handles any money exchange, records with the county and notifies DVC of the closing. The brokers only job is to find a buyer and recommend a closing service. They frequently have a closing service in house or an "arrangement" with one. DVC will actually recommend a couple they frequently work with and others of us could give a couple of additional options.
