Anyone ever seen a guest ignore their FP window?

Sure. I saw it happen in Sept. 2017. A group of 6 went up to the FP+ area and had the 2 kids start with their magic bands. I overheard the one adult tell them to keep walking no matter what.
Sure enough the kids put their magic bands up and got the blue light and kept walking. Then 2 adults did it and when the CM said something to the next 2 people they said "well our kids just went in" and the CM let them all through.

I was right behind them and heard the whole thing. They knew what they were doing was wrong but did it anyways. I wasn't surprised - I was kind of sad that people are teaching their kids that type of thing.

You seem to be assuming they did this intentionally. Maybe they did, I wasn't there but....

I was at a metro recently and something similar happen: A young child scanned his ticket properly, went through the turnstile, then took off. The mother was right behind the child, but mom's ticket didn't scan properly. The child ran off, and mom was terrified because she couldn't get to her son! Ordinarily, she would've had to have waited in line to get her pass fixed.

Luckily, a gate agent saw what happened and let her through the gate in time to get her son before a anything really bad happened.

This rarely happens at the major attractions because 1) CM's are way more vigilent with such huge lines, and 2) Guests usually have to scan twice, so you'd have to double dupe. I've seen people skate through on the blue at several places, but never at the major attractions.

Thanks, good to know! Hopefully that never happens again, I am now very careful about closing the app before I start doing other things.

Next time take a picture of your FP's. We accidentally deleted ours also, we did have camera shots of the FP, went to Guest services and they totally helped us out. We even ended up with two anytime passes for our group of 7. Magic happens!
