Anyone ever managed to change a GT cabin assignment?

I'm glad it worked out for you. Through my experience over the years, I've found that DCL will do things that aren't normal policy...if the requests are reasonable or benefit them. Once I booked a four-day cruise out of Miami on the Wonder with a VGT rate. The next day a Fantasy cruise with a VGT rate came out. They let me switch. It was a good rate for the seven-day cruise, but double the cost of the four days cruise. It certainly benefited them, but it was not policy.

Awaiting our VGT assignment and now I’m hoping we get a large verandah! We are about 30 days out (booking opens tomorrow) and I’d love to know where we are going to end up.

*GT assignments have typically been MUCH closer to sailing - even as late as at the port checking in.

Oh my gosh!!!! That’s crazy! Can you tell we’ve never sailed VGT before?! I had no idea!

I haven't either, but from reports on here I think *GT is usually 14 days or so. But it can be sooner or later.
