Anyone ever heard of Kanosis?

I have a friend who is somewhat bullying me into joining this supposedly new internet revolution called Kanosis. I'm reluctant so I thought I would post here and get everyone's opinions on the company and product.

Basically, Kanosis offers a new Java-based software application service (COIL) that connects our community in a secure, private global environment and gives members the opportunity to profit from its distribution.

What do you think? Is it worth the $22 a month fee?

I thought that too. They claim that they are some kind of multi - marketing matrix thingy.

LOL!!! Wow! A new sci-fi term for pryamid scheme!!!.......Amway/Quixtar is the one that started using the term "network marketing".

Multi = a lot of
Marketing = Selling / Persuading
Matrix = Network

Yep, looks familiar!

I actually don't have a problem with such business opportunities and I do know many people with successful network marketing businesses (various companies). I don't appreciate the tactics many people use to bully people into joining and it is always A LOT more work than they say it will be.
