Just curious (and perhaps a little paranoid), but has anyone ever had an issue using the paper (print at home) e-tickets, the ones that you go directly to the turnstile with ? I have ours printed (and back up copies will be in the car), but don't want any problems...

Also, can we go and directly get a regular ticket (or do the next day free option) after we get in...I hate having to carry around those big pieces of printed paper tickets..

Thanks

I used the print at home tickets back in August. We didn't have any problems. Just handed it to the guy at the turnstile, he scanned it and let us through. I had my id out because it said on the ticket to show ID but he didn't even ask. He told us we could go to the booth inside the entrance to get our next day free pass but we didn't get one. So, I'm not sure iabout changing to a regular ticket.

We've used print at home tickets twice for San Antonio and once for San Diego and have never had a problem. The first time we used them at San Antonio (2006) we had to go have our second day ticket issued. They took our picture and issued another little ticket. The second time at SA (2008) and only time at SD (2007), we were instructed to just present the same ticket on our next visit.

IMO, it was much less hassle to just present the same ticket than going and getting a second day ticket issued.

No problem using them today at Busch Gardens Tampa. They issued us a second day ticket at guest services!

Great, thanks for the replies, we are on our way there this evening...

i did it this yr and it worked fine. when you scan the e-ticket, the machine comes up with a personal greeting 'welcome laura' etc on the screen.
