Anyone ever get their waitlist 2 weeks out?

We are wait listed for BCV and are 2 weeks away...anyone ever get lucky on their waitlist this close to their trip?

It's probably a long shot. However, you never know...life doesn't always cooperate with our vacation plans! I had to cancel my 2 BR BCV ressie for w/o 6/12. Luckily, I was able to do so at 33 days prior to vacation so my points didn't go into holding. Hopefully I helped to make someone's wait list dreams come true! Here's some pixie dust for you!!

We got Christmas 2 weeks out last yeaar.

Last year we waitlisted for a 2bdrm villa and a studio. First the studio came through, and 2 wks out the 2bdrm came through,

I got a studio about a week out, but I had only booked the trip about a month out and waitlisted it then. I am a true believer in waitlists!!

I got it at check in....my family wanted BCV Studio...and were at OKW...at check in...we asked if anything was available at BCV..the young lady called for us...and the answer was yes...we continued on to the BCV....you never know...you have to ask....enjoy

When our waitlist expired last Feb I called everyday twice a day and FINALLY the day before we left our wish came true.

We were taking a 4 day trip and wanted to stay at VWL. They only had availability for the first two day so we waitlisted for the last two. When the waitlist expired I called everyday and finally the day before our trip the last two days became available. On the day before our trip I had called in the morning and there was no availabilty, I called at lunch time there was no availability and when I called later in the afternoon they had a room for us. So don't give up.

I had been waitlisted for AKV for months and yesterday my waiting ended with just 11 days to go. There is always hope.
