Anyone ever get seated early at Ohana?

We ate at Ohana on Wednesday evening and we (2 of us) had reservations for 6:20. We arrived at 5:50 and, guess what, we got seated at 6:20. There was only 2 other groups (5-6 people each group) of people waiting in the chairs out in the hallway. Since it was not very crowded and there were empty tables, you would think they would have seated us early. They were very slow at cleaning tables and then refilling them. Kinda surprised because they usually rustle you through like cattle. However, for the first time ever, the food and service was excellent. Sometimes we go and the service sucks but they were excellent on this visit. Guess it's because they weren't that busy.

Unfortunately O'hana is the place that we had to wait the longest after our ADR. We had a 6:50 ADR, arrived 6:40 and still had to wait until about 7:15ish until we were seated. While we were waiting we took a bunch of pics, i got a few pressed pennies and finished a mixed drink and a half all while waiting. Didn't effect our opinion of the meal though. We are going back on our next trip b/c the food was outstanding! :goodvibes

We arrived 40 minutes early for our breakfast reservation last year because I like to walk around outside for a bit - so beautiful! We went and checked in first and then went to have our pictures taken. Before the photographer had even snapped off the first shot our pager buzzed and we were seated. It happens to us quite often, but I think it could be related to the fact that we are a party of two and therefore easier to seat.
