Anyone ever get a BCV 1bed with AP Rate?

We have our honeymoon at the end of Sept, wondering if anyone has ever booked a BCV 1bedroom with an AP rate. If so how much?

I know the room inventory is scarce for BCV at times for those not using points, but Sept is supposed to be reeeeally slow at Disney.

BTW - not thrilled of the idea of renting points, love to have housekeeping daily and security of direct ressie with Disney

I haven't recently booked a 1bdrm at BCV's on an AP rate but...FWIW I did check the cash rate with an AP or FL res. code for a night or 2 in June at OKW in a 1bdrm (I'm low on pts and may have occassion for a night or 2 as I have family coming down).

OKW was running $295.00 per night with a discount code through CRO for a 1bdrm in June. For the same size unit but at BCV's in Sept. my guess is it would be somewhere in the same neighborhood as far as price per night although it may be slightly more $$ at BCV's. But ya never know until you call and until those codes are out.

Just so you know, if you rent points, you would have a direct reservation with Disney. The DVC owner would make the reservation in your name and send you a copy of the confirmation. If you are concerned, you could call the resort to verify that the reservation is really in your name.

yes, they would be able to that but not until a 5 days to week before they arrive. their ressies wouldnt be in the resort system until then, i do know that you could get an AP rate, but they are very slim, i believe with the discount you will still be paying more then renting points. sept. is low points during the week 22 points & 45 points on weekends for a 1 bd at the BCV.
