Another place you can fish is right outside the Meadows Trading Post back doors. It's a small dock. Lots of small sunfish. A good spot I found a couple of weeks ago was right across the street from the 1500 loop bus stop. The canal runs under the road. Pretty good fishing there with nightcrawlers. I caught a couple of nice, but ugly, catfish and several bream there.

Hubs and daughter brought their own poles and fished the lake near the Golf Cart Rental and didn't catch a thing...and they are big time fishermen...like offshore sport fish...

Last night I decided to call and make the fishing ressie for Sat. This is his 60th birthday and the first time in a long time we're all together to do it. Kids are in school, work whatever. Then Sunday we'll do the FW offshore fishing. When I called MS they surprised me. My waitlist request for VWL had come throughWe've always wanted to stay there and it fits right in to the fishing part of the trip. I was so excited I forgot to make the ressie for fishing. Calling today and will ask for Uby. Thanks so much again.
