The school tells my daughter that the Disney program isn't an acknowledged program since it's not an intern program. Has anyone ever done the program from Ball State? How was it handled? I don't want her to lose her scholarships to participate.
My Daughters roommate was from Ball State. She didn't get any credits from the school.
For what it's worth she now works full time for Disney and loves it.
They seemed less than happy to deal with my daughter about the program. She's in the honors college and I suspect they get a lot of flack to get the kids through and graduated in the 4 years. The financial aid dept. seemed more open to helping us but asked us to get a few questions answered and then get back with them. My daughter wants to do the program if she can still graduate in her 4 years. She's double majoring so that may be a bit tough. We'll see.
Scarscar93 is right! As long as your daughter applies while still in college (say her last semester), if accepted she would start the program shortly after graduating. You don't need to be taking classes while in the program, just as long as you were enrolled in college classes when you applied. I plan on doing that next year myself.
