Has anyone ever eaten dinner solo at O'hana's? I've done buffet's solo, but never eaten anywhere where they bring the food out family style. Also where do they normally seat solos? They once put us in the little dining area to the right when you first walk in (behind the grills) and we didn't particularly like it. Thanks!

I've never eaten there solo, but I love their food, I totally would eat there solo happily! I noticed that they have small tables for three right by the windows, i wonder if a solo may be seated there...

Hi aubriee,

Yes, I've eaten at 'Ohana (as well as at many of the WDW restaurants) solo. Did it twice. First time I was seated at a table for three in a quiet area away from the firepit; the second time was right in the middle of the action. I liked it each time because I love the food, but dining solo isn't as much fun as dining with friends.

Hi Jim, haven't seen you on the boards in awhile. I'm thinking about eating at 'Ohana's during my May trip, but wasn't sure how they did all the food. I thought I might be just a little uncomfortable sitting at a small table covered up in platters of food. I'm a big eater, but don't know if I could handle all those platters/plates sitting around me piled high with food.

Love love love this restaurant and the food, but I thought it was difficult to eat here with just two people! I felt the pressure to eat enough food out of each dish and ate to the point I was feeling sick. Took a breather for dessert though, because that was unbelievable.:goodvibes

If I can go, I'd love to go to O'Hana's- been once before and really enjoyed it there...........

i've done o'hana three times solo for dinner before.

i told them not to bring all the food out at once but to wait until i asked for the next dish. i didn't want the wings, shrimp, potatoes, noodles all at the same time.

some things are brought out as a group which was fine by me.
but i had them wait up before the meat skewers came.

dining solo is not bad at all.
you don't have to share the salad with anyone!!
one of my favorite things there

I went with two and there was a lot of food. The first time we rolled out of the restaraunt. The second night I skipped the skewered meat. I would definately ask for smaller amounts of food to be sent out. I went around 9pm so I was able to see and hear the fireworks. It is so busy no one would even notice if I wa salone. Definately worth going.
