Anyone ever catch an error in a show?

Had this happen last night for me...I've watched nearly every Youtube video on Disneyworld's "Fantasmic" - I have seen the show 7 times live, and I can quote the whole thing. It's easily one of my favorite shows at Disney.

Last night though...woof, that was a STRESSFUL ride. The first time we see Mickey, he comes out of a trap door. Nope. This Mickey last night I watched BOLT across the stage to make it in time for his first entrance.

The monkeys on boats during the Lion King sequence almost collided. They had to stop in the middle of the river and awkwardly dance around and pose while the spotlights were still on them. The Native Americans in the boats during the Pocahontas scene had difficulty getting their boats to steer, they were going into walls and the water displays, some of the fires weren't working on the boats. Then the princesses came. Belle and Beast's boat was CRUISING across the river. Then they stopped in the middle, then continued. But they were on the river until the end of the Evil Queen's scene. Oh, and the Evil Queen didn't get to switch her robe around when she turned into the Old Lady. So the Old Lady had the sparkly Queen outfit on.

Theeen at the end, the Mickey that comes out and says "Some imagination, huh?" Didn't make it to his place on time, so he said it off to the side of the rock.

That was rough. I can usually catch one or two errors, but the boat linings were off and the main trap door didn't seem to be working, which made the whole show tough to watch.

Wondering if others have had experiences with different Disney shows where they have very obvious errors?

That is so common that it might be considered a "feature." ;)

Ummmm, are you sure you watched Fantasmic? Or, just listing things?

I've watched from the front of the Beast section and unmagically have seen the Evil Queen transform into The Hag. There would never, ever be an instance of a costume malfunction as you described.

If characters were running to get into place, that means there was a malfunction with the lifts used in the show. When boats go off course, the show is usually stopped/downed.

Yup. That was what my "Hmmmm..." comment was about.

The open end (of Mrs Potts) HAD to be facing the audience, don't cha know!

Sorry, I'm not understanding this particular reply and why people are saying "Hmmmm..." and "BUSTED!" in response to it?

Never say never until you observe a costume malfunction happen in real life.

My favorite thing was that performance of FoF over the summer where everything went wrong and Mickey's balloon deflated. LOL.

It's just that most people know that every Fantasmic performer has 4 different roles in each Fantasmic performance. Evil Queen > Old Hag is two separate roles not performed by the same CM. Old Hag would never appear in the incorrect costume pieces.

So everyone chooses not to believe me just because they didn't observe it for themselves? Okay :)
No. They are choosing not to believe you because the Evil Queen does not "switch her robe around when she turned into the Old Lady." There is no robe switching, and as a result, there cannot be any mistakes in the robe switching. Character #1 goes down a shaft and character #2 replaces character #1 with their costume already on. How can character #2 ascend from the shaft with the wrong costume on?

If the trap system was not working it would be possible for the same character to stay on stage.
And INTENTIONALLY (by necessity) be wearing the same costume throughout that scene, but I don't see how
the FACE could change from the Evil Queen to the Hag.
Maybe the Hag's face was covered??
