.... sleep on top of the covers to avoid making their bed and/or changing the sheets? I have 2 kids currently doing this. DD4 likes the look of her bed made, but can't seem to make it by herself (its an elevated bed) so she has started sleeping on top of the covers. DD10 has started doing it, too, to avoid making her own bed and taking the sheets off for me to wash. It's hot enough here in Texas to sleep on top of the covers, but I still have to wash the comforter. And if they use a small blanket to cover up with, I have to wash that. I think they are just trying to avoid their chores, but giving me the same amount of work.
Sneaky kids....
