HI DIS friends,

Mind you I have four kids. This evening's entire dinner conversation amongst my kids was..... nose picking words comments, passing gas, defcating, constipation, poop sounds, breaking wind, diarherra comments.

How lovely??

Anyone out there have similar conversations like this?????????? :rotfl2:

What else is there to talk about?

You definitely don't want to be at the dinner table in a firehouse! It's always lovely conversation when his buddies come over for dinner! :rotfl2: I've heard a lot worse! :rotfl2: But seriously, I try and curb my kids fart and burp banter until dinner is over!

I have many nieces & nephews, but I spend a lot of time with a 7 yr old niece & a 3 yr old niece, and I have heard lots of conversations like that! My problem is, I know I shouldn't laugh, but sometimes they're funny. So it encourages them to continue.

Ah, yes! And my kids are teens!! Now that they are older, I really feel out-numbered by the bodily function conversations! So, I just tease them all without mercy about their everyday actions! HEY...what else is a mother for?? :confused3

I have come to expect it from kids. What gets me is when new moms want to talk about all the "diaper presents" they have seen. Come on, I am trying to eat for heaven sake. Talk about it somewhere else.

Absolutely... from a 30 yr old woman at a nice dinner.

My SIL breeds dogs. Well, a time or two she has recounted which female dogs (using the "correct" term for them) are in season or in heat. And then, told us all about the process for shipping/breeding them. If they don't send the dog... well, the send a part of the "stud" via cold fedex... and then it has to be inserted... all in great detail. Every detail is explained in great detail.

Usually what follows is "pass the salt". :crazy2:

Well, I'd be lying if I said we didn't, but I can't tell you what our next dog's name will be because it will poof the thread again. Let's leave it as, it's also the name of a planet and it starts with a "U"

OMG, this thread makes me feel so much better! I have two boys, and Lordy the dinner table can be the setting for some *amazing* bodily function sounds! I've been thinking I had gone wrong somehow in raising my kids! LMAO!
