Anyone else watching The Bachelorette?

The ending was kind of anticlimatic for me. I didn't really "see" her with Jason or Jesse. I think she went well with Jeremy.

If Jeremy is the next Bachelor I will watch that season. I like him and I hope he finds a nice a girl.

I couldn't stand Jeremy. He reminded me of the husband in "Sleeping With the Enemy". At least I think that's the right movie...the one where Julia Roberts fakes drowning to death to escape her manic obsessive compuslive husband?


Edited to add: Although now that I'm thinking about it, Jesse did have his cabinets labeled with stickers from a label maker didn't he. No matter - I'm still sticking with the Jeremy/sleeping with the enemy husband thing.

Jeremy: I wanted another free trip to the Bahamas so I went along with the producers idea to beg for Deanna back.

The scuttlebutt on FORT is that Jeremy didn't come back to the Bahamas- he talked to DeAnna the same night he was dumped. The show just edited it to look like it was days later. Supposedly, he is wearing the same shirt he had on during the limo ride after the rose ceremony where he asks the driver to stop and he gets out.

I wonder what kind of haircut De's father is going to have Jesse get. "I'll even go to a barber with you."

His father in law to be will have alot of fun with that hair cut with the stylist.....If they do go to get a hair cut together...that would be a great prelude to the wedding episode..lol

Ooohhh, that makes me feel a little less bad for him. I thought if she had the final two guys visit her hometown and they all flew back to the Bahamas already, and he was STILL trying to win her back, that was really sad. But talking to her that same night isn't too bad.

OK....since no one else has said it. She also spent the night with all 3 of them. Dare I say, does anyone else wonder if she..............with all 3 of them? Sheesh

I want to know that too! We got to hear everything else... I wanna know how they measured up.

One thing I don't understand is why everyone thinks Jason coming on the show is wrong - because he has a son? Are you NOT supposed to try to find love because you have a child? She had to meet Ty and the rest of Jason's family if he could have been the one she picked. It happens everyday that people bring their SO home to meet their children and family. Most times relationships don't work out for one reason or another that doesn't mean that the child will get hurt - he didn't even know DeAnna that well. They didn't build a "mommy/son relationship" there was no time for that. Ty will be fine - he may not even remember her.

I think my biggest problem with Jason and Ty was that Jason left Ty for such an extended period of time to be on a TV show. That poor kid had been through a lot with the divorce of his parents and with Jason having what appears to be sole custody you know that kid has been probably through the wringer. How often do women lose custody in this country? There had to be a good reason. The last thing little Ty needed was his anchor going off chasing some girl on national TV.

I don't begrudge Jason a new relationship and I understand that eventually Ty would have to meet someone important in his life. I just think that it was wrong to do so within the whirlwind that is this show. In addition, I think that we don't know how much Jason played up his feelings for DeAnna to Ty or how much he knew about Jason's plans to propose. Ty knew on some level that Jason was going to see her again for something important and even picked out Jason's tie ("It's the color of a Georgia peach!"). If Jason shared with Ty that he was going to propose and that DeAnna may come and live with them I don't think that Ty will bounce back as easily as some of you think he will.

Jason said last night that his ex left him for another man. And Ty must've been very very young. Of course a divorce isn't easy on any child, but I don't think he's necessarily been "through the ringer." I don't think he necessarily went through anything with regard to the divorce. Not saying it's easy, and that having to go stay at another house to visit with his mom is better than having his two parents happily together, but it looks like Jason has a good support system too. Jason may not have sole custody...he just might be the custodial parent. It happens more than you'd think these days.

I was really disappointed with the end result. I did not like Jesse at all and think there is NO WAY that guy is ready for marriage. Anyone who needs to stop a couple times because they are going to puke before looking at rings, is not ready to get married. That scene to me was really telling. He just does not have the maturity there at all. I mean, could he not even try to dress a little nicer to meet her family? I know he is a laid back kind of guy but COME ON! That just shows that he really does not care. Also, he did not even think to ask her dad about marrying her. When he talked about her it just really did not seem sincere at all. It seemed like he was reading from a script.

Onto the after the rose show. I felt so bad for Jason but also think that he is going to be just fine. He is adorable and a great catch so I am sure he will find a nice girl. I found it really self-centered that they are planning on having their HUGE wedding in the Bahama's. How do they expect all those people to afford to fly down there and pay for hotels and food and......? It is just really rude, IMO. I am all for destination weddings but you don't expect a huge amount of people to come to them.

I know there is more I want to say but I cannot remember right now.

He was being himself- I think that was sorta dressed up for him. I think Jesse is great and probably was the best match for her. I'm not so sure they had to tell him. Remember when DeAnna had her "sleep over" dates? He first told her he didn't think he could til her met her dad. Her eyes bugged out and he said he was just kidding but it shows he did have those kind of thoughts, joking or not.

Deanna just seems like she has to much fun in her to be your everyday soccer mom.

I have to agree about how people react to big events. I almost passed out during my wedding ceremony. It didn't mean I wasn't ready to be married. It meant my emotions were running high and my body reacted.
