Anyone else watching The Bachelorette?

The guys in the outhouse had an improptu BBQ and invited Deanna and the guys in the mansion down. Deanna basically had a meltdown because the guys weren't paying enough attention to her. Some of the guys were in the house instead of outside with her and the other guys were talking to each other instead of her.

Fred and Robert went on the two on one date. She sent Robert home first and Fred looked very happy. Then she gave him the heave ho as well after a long speech about what a great guy he is but he just isn't the great guy for her.

Please help! I had to miss it and don't have DVR. I read some of your above posts, but I mostly want to know what she was screaming and crying about that we saw on last weeks preview.

Also, at the rose ceremony (I made it in time for that part) they said she sent two people home after one on one dates, Fred and who else?

Diva De was upset because the guys were being guys and not behaving the way she wanted them to at the little Bar-b-que the guys threw together. They were having fun and she felt left out since the action didn't center around her. The other guy she sent packing was Robert the chef who also had issues. Fred and Robert were on a two on one date and poor Fred thought he was going to get the rose after she sent Robert home. When she got back, she proceeded to send Fred home too but he took it very well. He seems to be one heckuva nice and MATURE guy without issues. Probably too mature and together for Diva De.

I am liking Deanna less and less each week. Last night, she was just too much of a drama queen. What man wants to be married to that? I can just imagine her life with her husband. Husband - "Sorry, honey I forgot to bring home milk." Deanna (in tears) - "How could you? You must not love me. You must not be thinking of me 24 hours a day." She was so self-absorbed at the BBQ.

I can't believe Twilley stayed and Brian left. I could see Brian being the next Bachelor. He's cute, has an amazing body, and seems like a sweet guy. I also felt bad for Fred. He thought he was good to go when Robert left. I also think Graham played his cards just right. By refusing the kiss, he just made her want him more. I don't think Deanna has a clue what she really wants.

Man, I agree!!

Boy would I love Brian being the next Bachelor. He didn't seem that INTO Deanna, and I don't blame him. She turned me OFF last night.

I had to take a break from the show the past 2 weeks (traveling) and was so disappointed in last night's show as well:headache: Deanna seems almost desperate to find her hubbie among the group and is fmaking her part in the show to be more of a "here's what you need to do right now because I know the answer!"...especially the lecture during the backyard bbq. I'm afraid she sounded a bit like a shrew lecturing them on how she wants them to behave instead of taking in their behaviors and using that as part of her eventual evaluator--so ok, some of them failed the test, then vote them off. Case in point--Graham:scared1: He can't give her what she needs, she is "in lust" with him so gives him chance after chance telling him how he should act! I agree with the last few posters--she isn't ready for a relationship because of the rejection. Either next week she settles down and sees information in all the interactions (like she keeps saying they need to do ad-nauseum), or she continues to "educate" certain guys as to what she wants and they will then conform (for the time being). Too bad. This season had such potential:confused3

I totally agree. This is the first time I liked the choosees better than the chooser!

I once had a boyfriend like that... here's what I want...do what I want or LEAVE.... I left!!! :tiptoe:

This is got to be the stupidest, most boring show ever. And this is from someone who is not a Bachelor basher...I have watched every season and always liked the drama. But I am just not liking Deanna or the guys. Everything seems so staged and phoney to me...even her meltdown. There is not one guy I can bring myself to really care about. Is it just me or does Jeremy seem to have NO personality what so ever...What a yawn. And Deanna to me is phony.

Sorry, I know I will continue to watch it, but when I do, I am so bored.

I'm sooo glad Robert's gone. He grossed me out with his unbuttoned shirts and completely unjustified confidence about his "connection" with Deanna.

Ha, I completely agree!! I was so creeped out by him, especially when he attempted to kiss her. BLECH. Talk about AWKWARD!! I had to laugh when she told him to kiss her on the cheek. I can't believe he really was so delusional to think they had a connection, poor guy...

I still keep hoping she'll wind up w/ Jason. But, the more I watch the more I think she'll pull a Brad - which would be completely ironic after all the crap she's been going on and on about leading people on.

I thought that Brian was much nicer looking with his hair all messed up instead of groomed like it usually is.

Can't believe that she picked Twilley to stay over Brian but then we rarely saw them interact. Can you blame him for bonding with the guys?

Deanna had the opportunity to observe the guys and how they really interact with each other at the BBQ and she blew it. So what if two of them stalked off inside and sulked. Let them be and have a good time with the ones outside. I, for one, would not want the guys hanging all over me. I'd want them to have fun and be normal. But then, I'm not Deanna, thank God!

I never liked her much on the bachelor. Now as the bachelorette she comes off as SO arrogant, I want to smack her!
She was a real ***** at times on The Bachelor! She was frequently in the middle of the drama with that other one (forgot her name). Then sometimes she's very sweet. :confused3 I agree, she's going to be very high maintenance, relationship-wise.
I have watched part of every season of this show and I do not recall any bachelor/bachelorette ever taking so much credit for arranging the dates. NEVER. I arranged for Natasha to sing for us. I arranged to meet Ellen. I arranged for the helicopter and the race track and the freaking Dodgers Stadium date. RIGHT.
I haven't watched every season (altho I've seen a few lately repeated on VH1), but that always annoys me! And when the bachelorettes or bachelors trying to "win the prize" comment about how sweet the "prize" was to plan all those events. :confused3
I really understand why she was upset with the guys last night/ They are there for her and no one even noticed she was there. I would have been mad as well..
I have to agree. It wasn't just that she wasn't the center of attention, it's that they seemed to not even acknowledge she was there. It all looked very awkward.

I was really put off with DeAnna last night. She is so superficial. She kept talking about how great a guy Fred was, but she sent him home. Graham is a jerk, but she keeps him because she thinks he is hot (can't figure that one out!) I don't think this season will end well.

My biggest problem with the BBQ thing is that she seems to be completely forgetting that this is equally about the guys. Yes, she is looking for a husband, but they are also looking for their wife. Relationships are about two people, not just one.

The kiss thing with Robert was sooo funny! He was such an egotistical sleaze! I was thrilled for him to go.

My personal favorite is Jason. He seems sweet and sincere and there is something childlike and innocent about him. I think he is her best bet at a lasting relationship.

I still think her showing out during the bbq was a reflection of her emotional immaturity. NO ONE is put on this earth to make you happy. She seems so wounded from the "Brad Rejection" she wants the guys to doubly make sure she is IMPORTANT.

She is not ready for a relationship.... she needs to find some kind of peace within first. She does NOT have it yet.
I so totally agree with this!

She seems to be obsessed with Graham because she, like most people like her, are attracted to men who make themselves emotionally unavailable to her. She chases him trying to change him ... BRAD... while avoiding men who are perfect candidates.... GEE, reminds ME of my twenties~~~:lmao:

I don't think the guys here are as devoted to the process as she is... and she seems to know that.
Maybe, like someone else said she's just lusting after Graham and figures she'll get her fill of him in the fantasy suite. ;)

I just don't like her. She seems very phony, but as Robin said, it's probably just her immaturity showing.

I didn't get the whole metldown thing at the BBQ. Maybe she'll clarify on the "tell all" show.

My favorite is Jason also. Can't believe Twilley is still there. He kind of creeps me out the same way that Robert did.

I felt bad for Fred, but I didn't see a connection. He seemed like such a nice guy though. I understand how she could say he's such a great guy & send him home though. I've known guys that were so nice but I just didn't "feel it" with them, so I know how that goes. I'm sure they made someone a great husband.

I just don't know what to make of her decisions. Brian gone and Twilley still hanging in there?!?!?!?! :confused3 Graham acting like a pouty, high schooler. He would have been sooo gone, after showing his hindend with the kissing her issue. Jeremy showing his temper just because he didn't do as well racing as he though he would. Get over it.

Jason and Jesse are still my top two favs.

F1Julie, good thinking!! We should start an e-mail campaign to get Brian as the next Bachelor!!

I too wonder what's up with the Bachelorette tells all show. I think it's weird that the shows are 2 hours, like they are trying to cram a whole season in a short amount of time.

Maybe she'll go on and on about the fantastic attributes of all of the guys then say. "but none of them is my future husband!".....The End.

She pull a Brad but without leading them on!!;)

I liked Deanna on the Bachelor but I'm almost to the point of despising her now. I don't believe there is anything genuine about her at all. I can't imagine what these guys see in her.

First, to the poster who says that Jeremy seems OFF... that is because he is all an act.. Not real... He is just tooooo smooth... He is a snake. I was the first one to say that back at the beginning.

Second... I have never been a Deanna fan. I didn't like here 'rubber necked' Southern girl with a 'New York City girl from the hood' attitude. Not at all! I couldn't beleive that she was the last one standing. But we all know how that turned out.

With that being said. I am not THAT put off by her leaving the BBQ. I mean, she has been dating these guys... every single one of them trying to convince her that "I am here for 'you'" So, they get bored, and decide to occupy themselves by throwing a Barbeque... Half of them are hanging out like a group of guys hanging out with 'the guys'... and the others just walk off. WTH????? What was up with that?

If these guys want to marry Deanna and want her to choose them, then hangin' out like fratboys or walking off too standoffish and immature to even speak to her... NOT the way to go. Deanna picked up on that. I do not simply think that this one situation was completely caused by an attitude of "it's all about meeeeee".

If there is a Bachelorette Tells All with 6 men still standing.... when this usually occurs before the last episode... Man... I am wondering if this could be IT for this season!!! Just like that Barbeque... THE PARTY'S OVERRRR!!! And, there is no winner.... NO last man standing.

What a lame season.... :confused3

I didn't care for her on the Batchelor and don't care for her now. I never "got" her.:confused3

I really like Jason. If he doesn't "win", I'd love to see him as the Batchelor. I think a Batchelor with a small child would add a new dimention to the show. I also think he's be much more serious about finding a wife than just being on "tv".;)

I'd also love to see a very distinguished 60 yo man. One who worked hard all his life, now is ready to retire and needs a companion. The women should be in their mid 40's - 60's. I'd like to see the show get back to "romance" rather than "t & a".;)

ME TOO!!!!! ::yes:: But then besides me and you..who else would watch..;)

But, you know what they'd do, they'd still make it t & a by casting all cougars from which this man would choose. That's what they'd advertise it as.

It would be interesting to see an established man's methodologies for selecting a partner, though.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that the 3 of us would watch.

I liked Deanna on the Bachelor but I'm almost to the point of despising her now. I don't believe there is anything genuine about her at all. I can't imagine what these guys see in her.

Maybe that's it. They all see through her, and none were interested at the BBQ.

I went to look at her hissy fit on ABC.com. Unfortunately, I'd have to download something first. Deanna so wasn't worth doing that. :p

DBF and I also agree that Twilley should have gone home last night. He is weird and there is something about him that I cannot put my finger on. Also what is with the "tell all" episode next week. I do like Jason and especially the way he was with her last night when she came home from the 2 on 1 date....
