I like the show, but I think it wraps things up a little bit too quickly...and a little too postively for the President. Granted, we've only seen three episodes, but I hope that something doesn't go President Allen's way. I have to admit that I didn't like the first episode, but I wanted to give it another chance and I'm glad I did. I've enjoyed these last two episodes.

So tonight's show was good? I missed it. I thought I had a season pass set on tivo, but I guess not. Can anyone give a recap?
Eight D.E.A. agents (Drug Enforcement Agency? I think?) are killed in some South American country. President Allen in upset that nothing can seem to happen without tons of bureaucratic stuff, so she decides to essentially invade the country, overtake the dictator (who was responsible for the agents' deaths), and reinstate the democratically elected president. She succeeds.
Meanwhile, the First Gentleman is overstepping his bounds by interviewing the new V.P. to help him prepare for his Congressional hearings. Donald Sutherland's character tells the Prez that he has something on the new V.P., but he won't tell her.
The youngest daughter realizes that Mom may not always be there for her. The two older kids head off to school. Brother doesn't have any issues with the media being there, but middle daughter does (plus, she has no friends at the school, with only her brother sitting with her at lunch). At the end of the episode, she asks her mom to go to a private school with all the senators' sons and daughters, but Mom seems reluctant.
